Volunteer Opportunities
St. Vincent de Paul CARES is eternally grateful for the hundreds of volunteers who dedicate their time each year to serving those affected by homelessness. Our volunteers are indispensable to the programs we offer.
Administrative
Volunteers are often needed at our Administrative office in St. Petersburg, as well as our field offices in Central and Southwest Florida.
Tasks include filing data entry, answering and placing phone calls, and stuffing envelopes.
St. Pete Food Center
Individual volunteers are needed to assist in preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Individuals must make a weekly commitment.
Group volunteers are needed to sponsor and serve meals on evenings and weekends and must make a monthly commitment.
Charlotte CARE Center
An Army of more than 400 volunteers contributed to ending homelessness by assisting with meals, cleaning, answering phones, typing, copying, raising money, serving on committees, stocking the pantry, teaching classes, and helping at our local resale shop, Fabulous Finds Re-Sale and Unique Boutique.
